Brief Visit is best for simple or focused concerns, quick follow-ups, minor acute symptoms, or one main question. When booking, choose in-person or telehealth when available. If you are not sure which visit type to choose, select the option that seems closest or contact the clinic for guidance.

Members may have access to timely sick visits for common acute concerns such as sore throat, cough, sinus symptoms, urinary symptoms, minor infections, and other short-term illnesses. Availability may vary. For patients who are not members, acute care visits may be available on a limited, as-needed basis when the schedule allows. Membership is the best fit for patients who want ongoing access, longer visits, direct physician communication, and relationship-based primary care.

Home or workplace visits may be available for comprehensive members when appropriate and when the schedule allows. These visits can be helpful for certain sick visits, follow-ups, family visits, or situations where in-person care outside the clinic makes sense. Availability may vary based on location, schedule, visit type, and clinical need.

Yes, multiple family members may be seen during a home visit when scheduling allows and each person is an established patient or scheduled appropriately. This can be especially helpful for families who need care for more than one person at the same location. Please let the clinic know ahead of time so the visit can be scheduled with enough time for each patient’s needs.

Focused Health & Wellness currently provides virtual care for patients who are physically located in Missouri at the time of the visit. State medical licensing rules require patients to be in a state where the physician is licensed when virtual care is provided. If you are traveling or temporarily outside Missouri, please contact the clinic before scheduling a virtual visit.

Direct communication is part of membership care, but it is not 24/7 emergency coverage. To maintain safe, thoughtful care, direct phone and messaging responses pause overnight until the next morning. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Yes. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a fee, especially when the reserved appointment time could have been used by another patient.
